For fellows aspiring to become the next generation of academic educators and leaders, the Medical Education Track offers comprehensive training in educational theory, leadership, scholarship, and program administration.

Working closely with experienced faculty mentors, fellows will gain experience in:

  • Medical education research
  • Learner assessment and feedback
  • Curriculum development and implementation
  • Mentorship and faculty development
  • Program administration
  • Simulation-based education

Participants may also elect to pursue a Master's degree in Education at the University of Kentucky as part of the track experience. Both PCCM and CCM fellows are eligible to participate; however, due to fellowship scheduling constraints, CCM fellows are not eligible for Master's program participation.
