Clinical Care
What We Do
The University of Kentucky College of Medicine division of rheumatology provides comprehensive clinical care for patients with rheumatic, autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions through UK HealthCare. Our team includes physicians and advanced practice providers who care for patients in both outpatient and hospital settings.
We provide evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and long-term management for a broad range of rheumatic and autoimmune diseases. Our faculty work closely with specialists across UK HealthCare to coordinate care for patients with complex conditions that may affect multiple organ systems. When appropriate, patients also have access to specialized services and multidisciplinary care involving other medical and surgical specialties.
As an academic rheumatology division, we are committed not only to providing high-quality, patient-centered care but also to educating the next generation of physicians and advancing the field through clinical research. Our faculty, fellows, residents, students, nurses and other health care professionals work together to provide coordinated and compassionate care to patients throughout Kentucky and the surrounding region.
Outpatient rheumatology services are provided through UK HealthCare, and new patient appointments are available through health care provider referral.
