Research Spotlight

Novel approaches to targeting the vasculature and metabolome to prevent brain aging and related diseases

Anika Hartz and an international group of colleagues published an editorial in Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience on novel approaches to prevent brain aging and related diseases focusing on the vasculature and metabolome.

Congratulations to Dr. Ren Xu for his recent PNAS article on a new treatment target for metastatic cancer

Sally Pauss and Evelyn Bates are co-first authors on a review article appearing in JBC entitled "Steroid Receptors and Coregulators: Dissemination of Sex Differences and Emerging Technologies”. Sally and Evelyn are PhD students in our Pharmacology and Nutritional Sciences programs, respectively, and are working with Drs. Gipson-Reichardt and Hinds.
