Discoveries made by our physicians and scientists have provided new diagnostic tools, therapies, and better understanding of cardiovascular disease. We maintain a strong, consistent record of publications in the nation’s foremost peer-reviewed medical journals. We are also committed to educating physicians and scientists in training and disseminating knowledge to local communities about advances and emerging issues in cardiovascular disease. 

Through the newly established cardiovascular service line in 2025,  the division, department, college, and hospital enterprise is more fully aligned in the multidisciplinary clinical care delivery which includes board-certified adult and pediatric cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, vascular surgeons, cardiac anesthesiologists, and cardiac and interventional radiologists working side-by-side in state-of-the-art facilities throughout UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital.
