Moonlighting

Several internal and external moonlighting opportunities are offered to fellows outside of fellow’s regular clinical and educational duties required by the training program. These opportunities are not required and must not interfere with fellow’s performance of assigned duties. 
 

Jeopardy Coverage

Fellows are not expected to follow Jeopardy call-in protocols for any service rotation other than night duty. However, in exceptionally rare circumstances involving unusually high clinical demand—such as a pandemic, epidemic, or mass-casualty event—the program may request that fellows assigned to Jeopardy call provide additional service coverage.

Fellows who are called in for Jeopardy night duty will be excused from their scheduled daytime service responsibilities the following day. If a continuity clinic is scheduled during that time, the fellow may choose either to attend the clinic as scheduled or to reschedule it in accordance with program requirements.
 

ARDS Wellness Committee (Activities Recovering Doctors’ Spirits)

Outside of GME Wellness Resources, our fellowship programs have a wellness committee of their own. This committee offers several activities per year for fellows to spend time together outside of programs’ responsibilities.
