Research
The University of Kentucky Division of Hospital Medicine is widely respected as a national leader for scholarship in the field of hospital medicine. UK hospitalists participate in a wide range of research to help advance the science of hospital medicine. This includes implementation of science, educational research, and participation in research initiatives across all fields of internal medicine. UK hospitalists publish in leading journals and present their work at local, regional, and national hospital medicine events. UK hospitalists also have leadership roles with national organizations and research consortiums. Much of this work contributes to ongoing efforts to optimize care for patients admitted here at UK.
