Outpatient referrals are seen daily at Kentucky Clinic in Lexington, Ky. We provide a full consultative outpatient service for all aspects of nephrology including the following disorders:

  • Chronic kidney diseases

  • Acute kidney injury (acute renal failure)

  • Nephrolithiasis (kidney stones)

  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)

  • Fluid and electrolyte abnormalities

  • Acid-base disorders

Outreach Chronic Kidney Disease Clinics

Chronic Kidney Disease Clinics are offered across central Kentucky including in Cynthiana, Frankfort, Lexington, Rockcastle, and Versailles.

Dialysis

The Division of Nephrology, Bone and Mineral Metabolism also provides inpatient dialysis services. Outpatient dialysis services are available in the following counties:

  • Madison
  • Whitley
  • Woodford

Transplant

 The Renal Transplant Service evaluates patients for transplantation and is responsible for their management after surgery in conjunction with their referring physicians.
