Program Components

Program Structure

Our program offers a unique scheduling system. Residents spend two months on inpatient services ("In") followed by one month on an ambulatory clinic block ("Amb"). This structure remains in place for the entirety of residency and allows for a more predictable schedule and consistent continuity in ambulatory care.

Integrated Tracks

Clinician Educator Track

This track equips residents with the tools necessary for clinician-educator roles and connect them with a community of faculty clinician-educators.

Clinical Educator Roles

Hospital Medicine Track

This track provides senior residents who are interested in hospital medicine the opportunity to receive more in-depth education and training in QIPS, professional development and the business of medicine while providing 1:1 mentorship with hospitalist faculty.

Women's Health Track

This track equips residents with specialized women’s health training, research opportunities, mentorship and scholarly experiences to prepare them for rewarding careers in primary care, academic medicine and internal medicine subspecialties.
