Why Train at UK?

UK HealthCare provides a strong environment for Clinical Informatics training through the scale of a major academic medical center and the breadth of its clinical and technology infrastructure. Fellows gain experience with enterprise Epic across inpatient, ambulatory, and remote settings, robust data and analytics platforms including Databricks, digital health and patient-engagement tools, and an established physician builder community.

Training spans multiple specialties, clinical environments, and enterprise initiatives, giving fellows exposure to the range of settings in which clinical informaticians work. Fellows also benefit from living and training in Lexington and the broader University of Kentucky community.
