Biography and Education

Learner Information

Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?

I wanted a world class education treating the sickest patients with a good mix of both the bread and butter as well as the rare cases only seen at academic centers. The faculty, residents, and students all treat each other with respect, joy, and camaraderie.

What do you like about your program?

I am surrounded with people who want to not only become better doctors but also want to become better people. They understand that a fulfilled life outside of the hospital leads to a more fulfilled life inside the hospital. Residency will always be tough no matter where you go, but knowing your coresidents and program leadership truly cares about how you are doing, makes the long hours a little easier.

What are your hobbies?

I love to cook, cycle, catch up with friends, make my way through the IMDB top 250 movie list, and travel both in the US and overseas
