Ann R. Finke, MD

Dr. Finke is a native of Lexington, KY. She received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Kentucky. She stayed at the University of Kentucky for her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. While in residency she completed the Clinical Educators Track and grew to enjoy teaching even more, with a plan to stay in academic medicine. The ability to teach students and residents alike was a motivating factor to remain on for an extra year in the role of Internal Medicine Chief Resident. Her career goals are to practice combined nephrology and critical care medicine with a focus of transition of care in nephrology. She also plans to stay at an academic medical center to focus on resident education. She is currently board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics
