The Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society recently named Brad St. Martin, Class of 2017, as a 2015 Carolyn L. Kuckein Student Research Fellowship Award recipient. AOA presents this research fellowship award annually to encourage and support student research.

Brad’s research titled “Quantifying the relationship of distance to care on clinical outcomes for HIV patients” was conducted with support of his mentors Moises Huaman Joo, M.D., and Alice Thornton, M.D., and councilor Charles Griffith III, M.D. For this honor, Brad will receive a $5000 award, with $1000 available for travel to a national meeting to present his research results.
