Financial Aid

The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is committed to providing each student with an excellent medical education to prepare them to secure a competitive residency and establish the foundation for a lifetime of practicing medicine. We understand that this requires a substantial financial investment and that many students do not have the immediate financial resources to accommodate this cost.

Our financial aid team is well equipped to provide guidance on options and resources to help meet these needs. In fact, the team helped nearly three quarters of our students secure scholarships or other forms of financial aid.

This section of our website provides detail about the investment and financial assistance options including scholarships and loan programs.
