We begin introducing teaching skills during Housestaff orientation with a session dedicated to setting expectations and providing feedback. We offer further opportunities throughout training to prepare all trainees for their teaching roles.

Chief Resident Retreat
The UK College of Medicine sponsors a retreat for rising chief residents each spring. This retreat provides a foundation in educational leadership and mentoring, skills essential to a chief resident’s success!
