On Thursday, July 28, historic flooding consumed a large portion of eastern Kentucky and the Appalachian region. Kentuckians in the affected areas will likely feel the catastrophic effects of this tragedy for weeks, months, and even years to come as officials assess the extent of the damage and continually report a rising death toll.
To help with flood relief efforts, UK College of Medicine students have organized a donation drive of much-needed supplies for those who are in great need in the aftermath of the flooding.
Drop-off Locations
Lexington Campus — First-floor student lounge. Supplies will be collected every Tuesday at 4 p.m. until Aug. 30.
RPLP/Morehead — Second floor of the CHER building in office suite 202
