The University of Kentucky College of Medicine congratulates 39 medical students who were selected as members of Alpha Omega Alpha, a national medical honor society that honors those who demonstrate professionalism, leadership, scholarship, research, and community service in the medical field.
The membership is a lifelong honor and can be obtained at various levels of medical training or a medical career.
The list of honorees includes medical students from all four of our campuses: Bowling Green, Lexington, Northern Kentucky, and the Rural Physician Leadership Program in Morehead, Ky.
