Q: What do you do clinically?

A: Clinically, I practice family medicine in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. I split my time but usually do spend more time in the outpatient setting.

Q: What is one thing you love about your clinical specialty?

A: I love that I see patients in all seasons of life. My day may consist of newborns, teens, or any aged adult with a variety of diseases.

Q: What is one thing you love about being an ADD?

A: I love being able to connect with those students who have found the same passion for the field that I work in everyday!

Q: What is something you do outside of work to help you recharge?

A: I definitely like to focus on my work-life balance. I like to spend time with family and friends, travel as much as possible, and my favorite thing is going to as many concerts as I can!

Q: Any advice for students who might be interested in your specialty?

A: Definitely try to get as much exposure to the different spectrums of family medicine and try to get a taste for all the different avenues the specialty has to offer.

Q: How did you choose your specialty?

A: I had a difficult time choosing a specialty and my last rotation of third year medical school was family medicine. It was at that point that I realized all of the things that I had picked out and liked about other specialties could be found or applicable in family medicine. I really like that there was never a day that seemed the same in clinic or on inpatient and that I was going to see a wide variety of patients and disease processes.
