Writing papers
The publication of manuscripts describing our research is an important part of being a professor or a trainee at an academic institution. Other members of our community of radiologists are eager to read what we have found. :earning the way we do something will save them time and prevent them for making the same mistakes we made. Publishing also raises the awareness of other researchers of what a wonderful place the University of Kentucky is.

Yet the nature of many of our research, education and quality assurance projects requires consulting with a statistician to analyze the data properly. In fact, even before we begin a research project it is advised to consult with a statistician to guide the structure of a study, the format of a survey or the number of subjects to recruit to ensure the results will answer the research question we hope to answer.

Students could listen on their way to work or while walking from the parking lot. To hear Dr.

What led you and Dr. Chapelin to this research topic? When we started at University of Kentucky (UK) last fall, (August 2019), we saw two untapped potentials in the Department of Radiology and we jumped on board.
