Observership Program

The College of Medicine Department of Radiology is pleased to offer enthusiastic learners the opportunity to shadow our team to enhance their learning and exposure to radiology. This will be a hands-off shadowing experience, as per the criteria of the Office of Observation and Learning (OLE) at the University of Kentucky. During this time, learners will have the opportunity to observe radiology physicians' interactions with patients (with permission) and imaging, engaging in thoughtful discussion of clinical cases, reviewing medical literature, enhancing clinical knowledge, and experience teamwork involving care for our patients with opportunities for scholarly activities.

Please Note: 

• Applicants must first apply with the Office of Observation and Learning Experience (OLE). 
  Once approved by the OLE please contact the designated administrative support coordinator below.
• Additional training maybe required prior to observation or shadowing.
• No new applications will be accepted in the months of June and July for the Department of Radiology.
