The division of pediatric radiology is a group of pediatric radiologists who provide a full range of diagnostic examinations for UK HealthCare and its satellite centers, including inpatient and outpatient radiography and fluoroscopy, CT, MR, and ultrasound.
The pediatric radiologists at the University of Kentucky are recognized experts in pediatric imaging including radiation dose reduction. The division has an active consultation service and has close working relationships with the clinical services of UK HealthCare. The division takes part in numerous multidisciplinary conferences ranging from the neonatal and pediatric intensive care services to nephrology. They provide dedicated teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows.
