Comprehensive Diagnostic Nuclear Imaging

The UK College of Medicine Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging comprises a group of dedicated subspecialty-trained faculty physicians who provide a comprehensive range of diagnostic nuclear imaging as well as oral and parenteral radiopharmaceutical therapies. Outpatients, inpatients, and emergency adult and pediatric patients have access to state-of-the-art gamma camera, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT imaging. Cutting-edge therapies include Lu-177 dotatate (Lutathera) for neuroendocrine tumors.


The faculty at the University of Kentucky are recognized experts in the field. The division offers active consultation services and maintains close working relationships with many referring services across UK HealthCare. The division takes part in numerous multidisciplinary conferences and provides subspecialized teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows.
