Free Eye Clinics
Serving the people of Kentucky, expanding access to vision care across the Commonwealth
Vision is essential to everyday life — for education, work, safety, communication, and overall well-being. Yet many Kentuckians go without essential vision care due to financial hardship, lack of insurance, or limited access to services.
Our outreach program helps break down these barriers by ensuring that people who are uninsured, underinsured, have low incomes, or otherwise face challenges accessing quality eye care have the opportunity to maintain healthy vision. Through partnerships with local clinics, community organizations, and dedicated volunteers, we bring free and low-cost eye care directly to communities across Kentucky, from urban centers to rural areas.
Our services help connect Kentuckians with eye exams, eyeglasses, and appropriate follow-up care when needed.

Annual Saturday Outreach Events Across the State
Our eye care outreach team hosts annual “Saturday Eye Clinics” in multiple Kentucky cities — including Lexington, Bowling Green, London, Hazard, Harlan, and other communities — bringing no-cost vision screenings, eyeglasses, basic eye health assessments, and referrals to people who might otherwise go without care. These events take place at local eye clinics, community centers, schools or shelters.
