Applications

The deadline for application is Jan. 31, 2024 for the next available position that will start July 1, 2024. Once the residency application through ORMatch is complete, additional supporting documents should be sent to the program director.  Qualified applicants will be contacted to schedule an on-site interview once their application is complete.

The optometry residency position is filled through the Optometry Residency Match system (ORMatch).

Eligibility

To be eligible for the residency, all applicants must obtain a Doctorate of Optometry degree from an institution accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education, pass all parts of national boards, and obtain a license to practice optometry in the state of Kentucky prior to the July 1 start date of the new residency year.
