BS in Biology at University of Kentucky, 2018
Hello! I am currently a 3rd year pharmacology PhD student at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. I officially joined the Jo Lab as a graduate student in the summer of 2021. Ever since joining the lab, I have been investigating the role of glucocorticoid and its receptors in the human ovulatory process using the dominant ovarian follicles from women undergoing laparoscopic sterilization and the primary human granulosa/lutein cells from IVF patients.
Outside of lab, I volunteer with the outreach committee to expose the local community to scientific research. I also enjoy travelling, watching Netflix (true crime series!), and exploring coffee shops!
