The mission of the department of obstetrics and gynecology is to provide excellent and advanced clinical care, educate the next generation of physicians, and research the questions that lead to discovery and advancement. The mission only succeeds when we have committed faculty who devote their career to these grand goals. The academic titles are awarded to recognize our professional roles within the University and College only after demonstrated excellence, resolve, and impact over years of work. We had three faculty members honored by the College of Medicine for their academic promotions that were effective July 1, 2023. We are proud of them and their accomplishments.
