UKCERH host Poster Presentation Sessions at 2018 KRHA Conference
The University of Kentucky Center of Excellence in Rural Health (UK CERH) hosted the poster presentations at the Kentucky Rural Health Association (KRHA) conference on November 15, 2018. In addition to sharing their research and outcomes, participates were also required to discuss the potential policy impact of their work. Judges, from Western Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky, provided scoring and feedback on the fourteen posters accepted. During the lunch presentation From Research to Policy: How do we make the connection, by Dr. Fran Feltner, UK CERH Director, the top five poster winners were announced. Joining Dr. Feltner to announce the winners was Melissa Slone, UK CERH Research Inter-disciplinary Director, and moderator for the poster presentations. The top five poster representatives presented their projects, outcomes and potential policy impact during a session that afternoon.
