The University of Kentucky Center of Excellence in Rural Health in Hazard announces the graduation of its first cohort of Medical Laboratory Science students. The MLS program in Hazard provides cutting-edge training in the growing medical laboratory science field. Graduates earn a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Medical Laboratory Science, and obtain work in a variety of settings, including clinical labs, hospital and reference labs, research, and veterinary labs. Graduates may also pursue advanced study in medicine, physician assistant studies, physical therapy, and other high-demand healthcare fields.
