Applications are now open for the UK/AHEC Summer Health Careers Enrichment Camp!  This year’s camp will run June 10th – June 23rd.    The mission of the Summer Camp is to provide a unique learning opportunity to motivate, encourage, and spark interest in students to further their education and pursue a career in the ever-growing field of heathcare.

The camp will introduce incoming freshman and sophomore high-school students to a variety of health careers.  Students will have the opportunity to observe and shadow healthcare professionals at work; participate in a variety of hands-on activities, tour the University of Kentucky Lexington Campus, visit the UK Hazard Campus gross human anatomy lab, and participate in numerous education opportunities which will better prepare them for a healthcare career.
