Amateur Photo Contest

The University of Kentucky Center of Excellence in Rural Health (UK CERH) and the Kentucky Office of Rural Health (KORH) “celebrated the power of rural” to create excitement throughout Kentucky by having an amateur photo contest.  First Place winner, Lindsey Culver, sent in the photo, “ The Simple Life.” Second place winners were Tina Fields with the photograph “November Reds” and Ashley Bugg with the photograph “A Fenced October.” The winner received a basket full of UK items and the two second place winners received a UK gift item. This was the first year for the contest and the staff appreciates the excitement and participation from each photographer. The photos from this contest may be used in upcoming events, brochures, etc.
