Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
I loved the residents and attendings I interacted with on interview day. Even through Zoom I could tell that there was a wonderful culture of respect and appreciation within the residency program. Being a referral center for the area, I knew that at UK I would be exposed to a large volume of diverse patients and problems.
What do you like about your program?
I love the support and sense of community within the program. Every resident is a team player who works hard to make sure excellent patient care comes first. I also think that Lexington is the perfect not-too-big-not-too-small city that has so much to offer.
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy spending time with my husband and dog, Pepper (a bernedoodle), on my days off! I also love hiking and exploring the amazing food scene in Lexington.
