The annual Andrew M. Moore Sr., MD Visiting Professor for 2018 was Dr. Wyndell Merritt, a clinical professor in the division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Virginia. Dr. Merritt is also in private practice with an office in Henrico, Virginia.

Over two days, Dr. Merritt made four presentations, including a Plastic Surgery Grand Rounds presentation, Controversial Questions in Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: Commonsense Principles and Answers, on Friday morning and the annual Andrew Moore, Sr. MD Lecture, Chronic Pain: In the Head, the Heart, or the Hand?, later that morning.

He also participated in several intriguing case presentations from UK Plastic Surgery residents.
