Dr. Sibu Saha, a professor in the Division of Cardiothoracic (CT) Surgery at the University of Kentucky, accepted an invitation this January to serve as one of the senior editors of the International Journal of Angiology. The invitation came from the journal’s Editor-in-Chief, Dr. John Elefteriades, who also serves as director of The Aortic Institute at Yale University.

The peer-reviewed journal is the official publication of the International College of Angiology (ICA) and an official journal of the International College of Surgeons (ICS) and the Asian Society of Vascular Surgery (ASVS). The journal publishes original research, reviews, and case reports in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of vascular and cardiovascular disease. Saha formerly served as president of both the ICA and the ICS (U.S. Section).

Dr. Saha joins fellow UK CT Surgery faculty member, Dr. Victor Ferraris, as a senior editor of the journal. Other senior editors include Bauer Sumpio, MD, of the Yale University School of Medicine, Pravin Shah, MD, of the Hoag Heart Institute, and Dr. Takao Ohki of the Jikei University School of Medicine in Tokyo, Japan.
