Proposals
KAN is open to collaborative efforts that align and further its mission to conduct patient-centered primary care and public health research.
KAN encourages early discussion in the project development and pre-award phase. KAN will assist in study design and methodology development, project budget development, and implementation plans.
The following information is encouraged to be included in any requests of KAN involvement:
- The specifics of your request for KAN involvement (i.e., Project Development, Recruitment assistance, etc.)
- Title of the project
- Has IRB approval been obtained/Anticipated Start Date
- Specific aim/hypothesis
- Study participants/subjects
- Sample size
- Recruitment Procedures (including any flyers, etc.)
- Study design and procedures (including interview guides, etc)
- Timeline
- Specify if a family medicine provider was/ will be consulted in the development of the project
All approved projects will undergo budget and scope-of-work planning session with KAN administration.
Applications
All projects that are performed with KAN must be reviewed and approved by KAN’s advisory board. An email detailing the research project and the specifics regarding the request for KAN involvement will be required from investigators seeking KAN collaboration.
