Dr. Marks, Dr. Clay Elected to College of Medicine Committees
The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is excited to announce the appointment of faculty members Sarah Marks, MD, MA, and Jordan Clay, MD, to serve on its committees. The electeds have been endorsed by the College of Medicine acting dean and Faculty Council. They will serve three-year terms on their respective committees.
Dr. Marks has been appointed to the College of Medicine Admissions Committee. Dr. Clay has been appointed to the College of Medicine Medical Student Curriculum Committee.
Dr. Marks, assistant professor of family and community medicine, graduated from UK, received her master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and then returned to UK for medical school. She completed her family medicine residency at St. Joseph Family Medicine Residency in Milwaukee, Wis. At UK, Dr. Marks is her department’s associate program director and is focused on residency education and curriculum design.
Dr. Clay is an assistant professor of neurology who subspecializes in clinical neurophysiology and treatment of patients with epilepsy. He is a native of Kentucky and is an alumnus of the University of Kentucky and the UK College of Medicine. He serves as associate director of the third-year medical student clerkship in neurology.
