Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
Having attended medical school at UK, I saw how the residents are competent clinically and operatively. Residents are exposed to high volume, high acuity, and rich pathology hard to find elsewhere in the country. They are also given sufficient autonomy at upper levels. I chose UK because I know, upon graduating, I will be a well-trained general surgeon prepared for fellowship or private practice.
What are your hobbies?
Running; Tennis; Snow-skiing; Cooking; Bread-making; Playing with my dog.
