Why did you choose the University of Kentucky?
I am originally from East Tennessee, but grew up visit my grandparents in Western Kentucky. If there was a UK men’s basketball game on, you best believe my Papa was watching! I chose UK because it is a strong academic program in a great area. My husband and I couples match here, and they were very receptive of us applying together. The resources that UK provides are true unmatched.
What do you like about your program?
Our program does a whole month of orientation to kick off the start of residency. It’s something that I’m really thankful for because it allowed our intern class to really get to know each other before we start on different services!
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy cooking/baking, gardening, and spending time with my husband and 2 dogs!
