Dr. Pinault completed her medical education at Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Medicine. After medical school, she completed her anesthesiology residency at the University of Kentucky. She entered a physician-only private practice in Oregon with Oregon Anesthesiology Group (OAG), where she practiced for five years. Dr. Pinault then transitioned into academic practice at the University of New Mexico, where she got involved with residency leadership through an Assistant Program Director appointment. She transitioned to the Program Director role near the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, and then joined the University of Kentucky as Vice Chair of Education and Program Director in 2022.
