The University of Kentucky Perioperative Clinical Research and Outcomes Hub (K-PORCH) is dedicated to improving the health of across the Commonwealth of Kentucky before, during and after their surgical procedures through a focus on high-quality clinical research and outcomes assessment and a continuous focus on balancing the needs of the entire population while recognizing the varied stories and needs of individual patients.
Housed within the University of Kentucky Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine, K-PORCH seeks to bring together scientists, clinicians, and other interested stakeholders from a wide variety of disciplines to define areas of opportunity and research and to seek and support solutions for improving the health of patients throughout the perioperative period.
