Syed Ali, MD, is an associate professor at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He earned his medical degree from Gulbarga University, M.R. Medical College, and completed a preliminary internship in general surgery at the University of Kentucky. He subsequently completed his residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in critical care medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Ali serves as Director of QA/QI in the Department of Anesthesiology and holds a Graduate Medical Education leadership role as Department Quality and Patient Safety Officer.
