Sanders-Brown Center on Aging will host a "Just for Him" event, a spa day for African American men. The men in attendance can expect facials, grooming, and manicures. There will be swag bags and a $50 gift card upon completion of a research survey. Everything is free, including appetizers and free 3-hour parking in the LexLive garage. Physicians will be in attendance for questions and answers on health disparities that affect African American men. This event is funded by the UNited In True racial Equity Research Priority Area at the University of Kentucky.
This event will take place on Saturday, April 29th from 12-3pm at LexLive located at 301 S. Broadway in Lexington.
