Donor Opportunities
Alzheimer's disease wreaks emotional havoc on patients, who are robbed of their memories, their dignity, and their lives. Almost 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease, which likely means that all of us know someone whose lives have been touched - directly or indirectly - by dementia.

Patti's Peace: Investing in Sanders-Brown is Investing in a Cure
A PROJECT OF MARIE SMART FAMILY COUNSELING ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE GIFT FUND
My amazing mom, Patti, battled this disease for almost 10 years. She passed in February 2020 but not without putting up a fight! She was the most incredible mother, wife, daughter and friend. Everyone who knew her loved her. Her smile and laugh were infectious and she made a friend wherever she went. She is missed every day but we know she is now at peace and no longer suffering.
We aim to raise money so that other families and individuals do not have to endure this incredibly cruel, heart-breaking disease. We want to put these dollars towards research for finding a cure (which we know we will have one day!) and providing resources and support for caregivers and those living with Alzheimer's and other dementias.
