The Kentucky Office of Rural Health (KORH), in partnership with the  Resuscitation Academy, will be hosting a one-day, free workshop (Tuesday, April 9) providing evidence-based training to improve out-of-hospital cardiac arrest resuscitation outcomes.

Topics include: the science of CPR, telephone CPR, rapid dispatch, high-performance CPR, cardiac arrest data collection, and 
implementing best practices.

An optional second day of training (Wednesday, April 10) allows attendees to participate in a High-Performance CPR Train the Trainer Workshop, designed to provide instruction, coaching, and feedback to professionals who want to teach.

911 Center Directors, Medical Directors, EMS Chiefs, Quality Improvement Managers, and Training Officers are all encouraged to attend!

Citizen CPR Symposium

The Citizen CPR Foundation and the Kentucky Office of Rural Health partnered on a two-day virtual conference open to all Kentucky residents interested in improving SCA outcomes. The schedule featured a dynamic faculty line-up focused on empowering attendees with a strategic and practical approach for improving SCA survival in their communities, no matter how big or small. This approach included both the latest scientific recommendations, well-defined tactics and guidance in the form of proven best practices and innovations in implementation.
