2020 Live Well Lead Well Leadership University, Toronto (April 2020 to April 2021) 
I am one of the few (11) selected members by the American Academy of Neurology to participate in Leadership University Program- Live Well Lead Well – Influence your practice culture. This is a one-year course is designed to improve physician well-being within a practice community by developing and implementing your own project idea to drive systemic change. It empowers faculty neurologists to foster well-being and resilience in their lives; increase engagement at work; and develop strong, lasting leadership skills. I had an opportunity to position myself as leaders within my organizations as I share with colleagues the skills and strategies that they learn to establish an ongoing, positive effect in their workplace. It will positively impact the wellness of trainees in our residency program by recognizing opportunities for improvement and tool and resources to influence change. I have a one-year commitment to AAN for leading a project to promote a positive environment with training program and practice which will be mentored by experienced faculty at a national level.

The University of Kentucky College of Medicine Women in Medicine and Science (WIMS) Executive Committee, in joint sponsorship with the College of Medicine Office of Faculty Development and Office of Diversity and Inclusion, announces this award every year to an early career woman who has demonstrated leadership skills in any healthcare field for a sponsored conference travel. Recipient of the award are selected meticulously by reviewing each application and their individual goals and letters of support from department and institution. 
The stipend gives an opportunity to attend the AAMC Early Career Women’s Leadership Seminar which is popular and highly interactive three-day seminar provides women at the assistant professor level with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the academic medicine enterprise by creating individual leadership goals and practices to advance to higher faculty ranks and leadership positions

2019 Abraham Flexner award for excellence in Medical Education- Education 
The University of Kentucky College of Medicine developed the Abraham Flexner Excellence in Medical Education Award to acknowledge and encourage excellence in education. Since 1994, the College of Medicine has recognized an impressive group of educators at the annual Fall Academic Convocation. 
Faculty members receive this award for outstanding contributions to the educational program and mission in areas of Teaching.  

2018 Scholarship for Neurostimulation for Epilepsy at J. Kiffin Penry 
This fellow ship is offered to Epileptologist who are committed to the field of medically refractory epilepsy, in finding a cure and improving patient care with hands on training for FDA approved devices like Responsive neurostimulation (NEUROPACE), Deep brain stimulation DBS and Vagal Nerve Stimulation for medically refractory epilepsy. It is a unique networking opportunity with national experts in Epilepsy at the Graylyn International Conference Center, Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Winston Salem, NC. 


2016 Resident Research Day Poster Award University of Texas, Southwestern 
This is a very prestigious and honorable award set up by the Neurology Department. Each year the selected resident or fellow out of group of 100 trainees under University of Texas system is selected to receive this award, based on the unique contribution to field of research. 

The most honorable thing about this award is that the awardee is chosen by the Education committee consisting of Neurology Program Director, Fellowship Directory and Research faculties. The award winner is selected to present their research at the AAN American Academy of Neurology and receives a Travel Award. 

2015 Best Resident Doctor of the Year, University of Arkansas 
It is Department Peer Award at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This is a very prestigious and honorable award set up by the Neurology Department. This award is given to a resident for executing their leadership in patient care, teaching and administration skills. The most honorable thing about this award is that the awardee is chosen by the Neurology faculty and residents. Each year the selected resident is named as representing the best of all the residents currently in training. 
 

2014 Scholarship J. Kiffin Penry Epilepsy Education Program Training 
I was resident of the year, nominated by Department of Neurology at University of Arkansas to attend scholarship for the Epilepsy program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Winston Salem, NC. Mini-Fellows attend and give case presentations (there is a case study requirement) and advance their knowledge of epilepsy through lecture sessions, case workshops, and peer group discussion.  

2013 Save a Brain Award, University of Arkansas 
Save a Brain Award, was a peer reviewed Award, offered to a resident or a faculty, who delivered the Clot buster- iv tissue plasminogen activator to a patient with suspected stroke in the least possible time. University of Arkansas lies in the Stroke belt of the nation, critically delivering TPA in right time frame is very crucial to save the brain from disabling symptoms from residual stroke. This award was developed by ARSAVES which is a tele stroke network, operated via the university of Arkansas. I had set the record of the least door to needle time, it was 11 minutes, which means that the medication was delivered at 11 minutes from his time to the ER, and patients’ outcome was residual deficit of 1 (most minimal) out of scale of 30 at time of discharge after 48 hours.
