Lexington, Kentucky is considered the Horse Capital of the World, with numerous horse farms, the Kentucky Horse Park, and Keeneland Racecourse. It is also known for the renowned bourbon distilleries nearby and many fine dining restaurants, local cuisine, and farmer’s markets supported by local farms. Lexington was voted “Top 5 Best Small Cities in the U.S.” by Condé Nast Traveler in 2024 and “25 Best Places To Go in The South in 2025” by Southern Living.
