The Administrative Fellowship Program at UK HealthCare was established in 2002 and has spent more than two decades developing the next generation of healthcare leaders. Since its inception, the program has welcomed talented individuals from across the country to learn, grow, and contribute within our Academic Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

My own career journey began as an Administrative Fellow in Georgia before leading me to opportunities in Tennessee and, ultimately, to UK HealthCare in 2025. The fellowship experience played a pivotal role in shaping my professional development, providing exposure to executive leadership, operational initiatives, and the complexities of healthcare delivery. Those experiences laid the foundation for my career and reinforced the importance of investing in emerging leaders.

As Executive Preceptor, it is both a privilege and a responsibility to support the growth of future healthcare administrators. Our fellowship program is designed to provide meaningful experiences, mentorship, and opportunities to lead impactful work that improves the health of the communities we serve across the Commonwealth of Kentucky. We are committed to fostering an environment where fellows can challenge themselves, build lasting relationships, and develop the skills necessary to become thoughtful, innovative leaders in healthcare.

I am proud to lead a program that invests in the future of our profession, and I look forward to welcoming each new fellow to UK HealthCare.
