In collaboration with the UK College of Medicine, residents have the opportunity to train at Pikeville Medical Center, a 348-bed regional referral center serving eastern Kentucky, southern West Virginia, and western Virginia. Residents gain advanced clinical training in a high-acuity patient population, managing complex chronic diseases shaped by socioeconomic disparities and limited health care access.
