UK HealthCare Administrative Fellowship Overview

What You'll Do

UK HealthCare's Administrative Fellowship is a two-year, full-time program for recent Master of Health Administration or a Master of Business Administration graduates ready to build a career in health care leadership. You'll rotate through the full breadth of a large academic medical center's administrative functions — finance, strategy, compliance, HR, and more — gaining the kind of cross-functional exposure that typically takes years to accumulate on the job.

You won't just observe. Each rotation pairs you with a mentor and a real project. You'll report progress to executive leadership, build toward defined competencies, and graduate with a certificate, a professional network, and a body of work you can point to.

At a Glance:

  • Length: 2 years (Year 1: structured rotations · Year 2: project-based leadership work)
  • Compensation: Salary and benefits commensurate with PGY-1/PGY-2 programs, including health insurance, retirement, life insurance, and disability coverage after 12 months
  • Eligibility: Recent graduates of an MHA or MBA program with a strong academic and professional record
  • Visa sponsorship: Not available for this program
  • Mentorship: A dedicated preceptor and rotation mentor at every stage
