Financial Counseling
Your financial well-being is an important part of your training experience. UK offers a variety of financial wellness tools through Enrich to discover your money personality, start preparing for your financial future, and talk to financial experts. These financial wellness tools also include information on our retirement savings plans, retirement planning tools and Savi, which can help you with student loan forgiveness. You and your family have access to live financial experts for guidance on financial questions, big or small. Our partners at Enrich are ready to help you navigate the complex world of personal finance, at no cost.
Who are the financial experts you can speak with?
The Enrich team is staffed with financial education professionals who have been trained and certified to provide you with guidance and counseling on the tough financial decisions you face every day – at no cost to you.
What services do they offer?
Enrich financial counselors are available to talk through your challenges with you and discuss potential options you may have, making sure you know the pros and cons of each. If necessary, they can also help lead you to the resources you need to make a wise financial decision.
When are they available?
We have expanded the hours of access to a counselor, and Enrich counselors are standing by to help you Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. ET.

Student Loans
GME is able to assist UK residents and fellows with completion of Student Loan Verification of Training forms. You may also be eligible for federal income-based repayment plans and forgiveness programs designed for employees who work in higher education.
Student Loan
University of Kentucky house staff (residents/fellows) can submit their Student Loan verification of training forms to the GME office through the link below. A blank Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF): Employment Certification Form can be found here. The GME team will complete the verification of your training and provide the completed documents back to you. It is your responsibility (resident/fellow) to then transmit the completed form to your lender for processing. Please allow up to one week for GME completion. Repayment Plans
You may be eligible for federal income-based repayment plans and forgiveness programs designed for employees who work in higher education. TIAA has joined forces with Savi, a company created to help you navigate the complexities of federal programs, which may help you lower monthly payments and work toward loan forgiveness.
