June Resident of the Month: Douglas Zoerner, MD
Dr. Zoerner, a PGY-7 in neurosurgery, is recognized for his medical knowledge and care coordination when assisting his patients. Colleagues describe Dr. Zoerner as a phenomenal fellow, who demonstrates critical thinking, quick action, and exceptional knowledge during complex procedures. He is able to quickly communicate his findings with different departments that allow for problems to be solved quickly, preventing patient harm. Congratulations, Dr. Zoerner!
