Humanities in Medicine Group Vitals

Vitals is a medical humanities organization for medical students at the University of Kentucky, dedicated to exploring the intersection of medicine and the arts. We provide a welcoming space for students to share their stories, reflect on the human side of medicine, and express themselves through creative works.

The Viceroy

A student-run medical humanities journal

Vitals is also home to The Viceroy, a student-run medical humanities journal, which publishes poetry, prose, visual art, photography, and other creative works submitted by students, residents, faculty, physicians, and staff across the UK College of Medicine community. Through creative expression and shared experiences, Vitals celebrates the various perspectives that enrich our medical community and reminds us of the importance of connection within medicine.
